Fort Myers Beach and Lovers
Key State Park
The Fort Myers Beach Pier is a popular family destination with
a full day of activities. Enjoy the quiet ocean waves of the Gulf of Mexico
while listening to island music from a local restaurant and bar. Stroll
through streets for shopping or people watching and enjoy the sights,
sounds, and smells of South Florida. Lovers Key State Park is one of the
top 10 beaches in the US offering boating, fishing, swimming, and shelling.
Trout, redfish, snook, and tarpon are caught seasonally. It is home to
West Indian manatees, bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, marsh rabbits,
and bald eagles.
Bonita Springs Beach, Dog Beach
A beautiful quiet coastline with miles of bike paths that meander along
tree-lined streets, past parks, and through nature preserves. Let your
canine run wild with other dogs of all sizes and breeds at Dog Beach.
Captiva Island Beach
Lush tropical foliage and blue water is the reason it is called the romantic's
beach. Experiene glorious sunsets every night and peaceful sunrises every
morning. The pristine environment offers an abundance of wildlife viewing.

Sanibel Island Beach
Unique Sanibel Island catches an abundance of sea shells from the Gulf
of Mexico because it lies east and west instead of north and south like
most other islands. Sanibel is known for it's shells and people from all
over the world come to do "The Sanibel Stoop".
From December 2005 to February 2006 the average temperatures we experienced
on South Florida beaches was a high of 80 degrees and lows of 65 degrees.
It only rained about three days in the three months we were there. Visit
